Tupiza - Tupiza
We leave at 10:00 am from the office with our jeep, going towards Yurcuma, a place surrounded by red hills, El Angosto (tunnel), Entre Ríos, where we see the confluence of the rivers Tupiza and San Juan del Oro. La Torre is the only rock that stands in the place, with a phallic shape. We hike to discover the beauty of the place and after taking pictures, we continue to Bolívar, Quebrada Seca and Toroyoj. We stop to enjoy a delicious typical lunch, then you can bathe in the Rio San Juan del Oro surrounded by red mountains and the presence of an Indian face carved into the tall rock. We continue to Quebrada de Palmira ready for an adventure on 3-hour horseback ride. We see a few hieroglyphs, Puerta del Diablo, Valley of the Males named like this after the phallic shape of its rocks, Canyon del Inca. We leave our horses, go back into the jeep and go north, continue to Villa Fatima, San Gerardo, and Palala to admire the hills. We continue on up the ravine, reaching the highest mountain of chairs, then down a bike to get to Tupiza where we end our journey.
