We part north of Tupiza at 10:00 am, we head to Villa Fátima and Palala, where we take pictures of the spectacular red mountains and drive to Tambillo Bajo, Tambillo Alto, Monte Rico with its wonderful mountains. We visit Charaota, La Poronga with phallic-shaped mountains, San Miguel with lots of vegetation. We arrive in Salo, where it is said that the bandits of the American West slept and planned the assault on the remittance of the Aramayo mining company in 1908. We continue by a mountain ridge where there are houses of the village and more arid vegetation and reach the bridle path Apacheta. There we can hear the whistling of the wind that revives memories of the famous bandits last days, that are still present on this mining earth.
